Korte biografie

I am 22 years old, currently I study sport studies business and management at Amsterdam which requires me to do a total of 3 internships. My first internship was with El Poder del Deporte in Argentina. This was an incredible experience and when the opportunity to go to Nepal came I knew I had to take it.

Hoe tevreden was je met de begeleiding in Nederland?

Ruben as usual was very helpful in making sure everyone knew what was going on and when. When I went to Argentina everything went smoothly and nicely. This time since it was a pilot group I though it would not go as smoothly, however it definitely did and I am very happy about it.

My time in Nepal was incredible. It was my first time traveling to Asia which at first sounded very scary. I come from Spain so the cultural difference was massive. However this was the best part, the experience of living within such a different culture makes you learn new ways of doing things which you might not think of before. Everyone was very welcoming which made it easier to travel so far as well as the fact that it is very organized.
Furthermore, as a football player, is really important for me to bring football to those who do not have access to it and put a special effort towards football for girls and with the power of sports I feel like I see it growing.
Nepal is a country that can really benefit of this organization which makes it amazing to be in the inside and see how we actually make a change. It is also an incredible country with amazing landscapes and I consider myself lucky to have been able to experience this country to the fullest by having time to hike to Poon Hill and visiting other places like Chitwan.
